School Curriculum

The school curriculum is extensively an upgrade of the National curriculum standard, drawn from global best educational practices designed to meet the need of each child and encourages individuality in learning.

One of its goals is to build self- esteem, a necessary personality for future success. The curricula materials, instruction and assessment program are developed to ensure that our pupils compete favourably with their contemporaries in many parts of the world.

The learning procedure is based on Nigeria and British Education. The ideas from Maria Montessori are used in our Preschools .The Philosophy of early childhood education is largely a child-centred education. There is a focus on the importance of play especially for preschoolers and nursery pupil.

Creativity and higher level thinking skills are also encouraged. Each child enjoys imaginative and creative learning like Arts, Craft, Music and most especially Robotics

Educational robotics strengthen and support students' skills developing their knowledge through the creation, design, assembly, and operation of robots. Children find it funny and engaging because they feel free to interact directly with both electrical and mechanical processes and procedures. Robotics have the following effect on the pupil

• Robotics can be a launching pad for pupils to realize their passions.
• A strong robotics curriculum can create leaders
• Robotics can teach pupils how to communicate across different technology platforms
• Robotics can lead to community involvement.
• Robotics teaches essential teamwork skills

Other aspects of learning are scheduled into the day. Students visit the library once a week and computer laboratory for ICT (Information and Communication Technology).

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is the mode of education that use information and communications technology to support, enhance, and optimise the delivery of information. Worldwide research has shown that ICT can lead to an improved pupil's learning and better teaching methods

ICT here in Dobal schools teaches the basis in  computer career courses like programming, graphics design, data analysis, Computer information system manger and so much more

Physical Education and Dance is scheduled for physical development; Pupils learn music every Friday where they learn flutes, keyboard and Saxophone.
